Ashton Ruby is a 2008 graduate of Slippery Rock University where he studied Communication with an emphasis on Emerging Technology and Multimedia. He was Co-Station Manager of the WSRU-TV Station and produced his own news/variety show on the campus channel called "XRU". In 2007 he studied aboard in Japan at Kansai Gaidai University. He was active in the Film Making Club wrote, where he directed, filmed and edited a short film in Japanese with his friends and club members. As Production Assistant and Editor at Frames and Pixels, Ashton is responsible for any and all aspects of production involved in video projects: Planning, writing, filming, editing, distribution. He is proficient in a number programs used on the variety of projects such as Final Cut Pro, Motion, Adobe Photo Shop, Adobe Illustrator, DVD Studio Pro and others. In his free time, Ashton spends time with his family and is an avid gamer.
